GreenCoat utilises a ground-breaking process called High-power impulse magnetron sputtering (HiPIMS) to produce a 70nm tungsten oxide plasma coating infused with silver nanoparticles. As it is composed of only 3 layers as opposed to the existing norm of 5 layers, this makes it cheaper and greener compared to other smart windows. Our plasma coating can be retrofitted onto any existing glass, in a process like sticking a screen protector to your phone. Our smart windows are linked to an automated building management system which adjusts lighting and HVAC in response to the shade of the windows. Our smart building dashboard and analytics platform also allows users to track their financial and energy savings in real-time.
